For printers, embroiderers and sign makers
Runs the shop while you print.
Quote
Presslane is the storefront and back office for print and embroidery shops. Customers see their logo on the product before they order. Every quote is chased, every stage is messaged, the phone is answered and the floor updates the system by scanning a sheet. The chasing, answering and tracking are done by AI in your shop's name, so the only thing left to do is make the job.
A print shop loses money in the gaps between jobs, not in the jobs.
The quote that was never chased. The customer who rang three times to ask where their hoodies were. The job that sat finished on a bench because nobody updated the system. Every one of these is time the owner spent not printing.
Quotes
Most quotes that do not convert were never followed up. Shops are too busy printing to chase.
Calls
“Where is my order?” is the most common inbound call. It has an answer; nobody has time to give it.
Status
The system is on a PC in the office. The job is on the floor. The two rarely agree.
Our belief
The shop should run itself between the moments a person needs to be involved. Presslane exists to make those moments the only ones a printer has to touch.
Sixty seconds on the shop floor.
The film shows the gaps a print shop loses money in and what Presslane does about each one: the quote that gets chased, the customer who is told at every stage, the sheet that updates the system. Sound on.
The presentation
14 slides for the printer who wants the argument on paper: the problem, the three promises, the lane, the runsheet, the platform and who it is for.
Open the presentation (PDF, 1.4 MB)One lane from quote to door.
Every job travels the same six stages. The customer and the printer see the same picture, and the customer is told at each one, in the shop's own name and branding. Pick a stage to see what the customer sees.

Thanks, we have your order.
Proof coming today. We'll message you when it's ready to approve.
Sent by the order confirmation. Nobody typed it.
Customers see their logo on the product before they order.
They upload a logo, pick a hoodie, polo, cap or business card, and see it placed and sized on the real product. That picture becomes the proof they approve, and the placement picture the bench works from.
- Fewer artwork rounds. The customer approves what they have already seen.
- Goes on the runsheet. The same picture prints on the sheet at the bench.
- Priced as they go. Quantity breaks and decoration cost update with every change.
No quote goes cold.
Every quote is followed up by email, SMS or WhatsApp, on the schedule you set, until the customer buys or tells us they have gone elsewhere. Each message is shorter than the last, signed by a person at your shop, and always tells them how to say no.

Customers stop ringing to ask. When they do ring, the phone knows.
The phone is answered in your shop's name by an assistant that knows every order, every proof and every stock line. It reads numbers in groups of two, offers a text when the job ships, and hands to a person the moment someone asks.
- Answers stock and status. Order number or surname is enough to find the job.
- Logs the call to the order. Notes and follow-ups land on the job, not in a voicemail.
- Never denies what it is. It does not say it is automated unless asked, and never pretends otherwise.

The floor updates the system.
Every order prints a runsheet with a barcode the moment it is confirmed. Scan it at each bench and the status changes and the customer is messaged. No PC, no typing, no walking to the office. Mono laser, any barcode scanner, and a pen if the scanner is down.

A storefront that sells, on data that connects to anything.
The storefront is table stakes, so it is done properly and then left alone. The back office is the point.
Every product, listed once
Hoodies, caps and bags to brand. Business cards, posters and safety signs to print. Set up once, sold everywhere, with quantity breaks and decoration pricing that customers can actually buy.
Found by search and answer engines
Listings are written and structured for Google and for the assistants people now ask instead, automatically, without extra work. Product schema, real descriptions, category pages that render.
Open to any other tool
Accounts, couriers, suppliers, your own spreadsheets. The data is yours and any third-party app can read it. Nothing is locked in a PC in the office.
Built for the whole print and decoration trade.
UK first. Then every English-speaking market.
